Volunteer Coaches

The YMCA relies on volunteer coaches for the success of the league.

Volunteer coaches are assigned during team placement - some teams do not have any parents or guardians volunteer to coach. In those cases the Sports & Recreation Director will look for one of the parents or guardians on the team to become the designated coach.

The YMCA can provide training resources and practice plans for each coach. Volunteers help develop their community through cause-driven leadership.
