Our mission is to make our facility, programs and services available to everyone in our community.

Every single person deserves the opportunity for greater well-being. That’s why we offer income-based membership assistance (Up to 50% off regular monthly fees) to those who qualify. The application will need to be completed on an annual basis.

Thanks to the generosity of our donors and our members, we provided more than $350,000 in membership assistance this past year.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE, AND HOW IS THE AMOUNT DETERMINED?

Anyone is welcome to apply for Membership Assistance. The percentage of assistance awarded is based on an application process and a review of the required documentation provided by the applicant. All applications must include all persons residing in the household and all sources of income from each individual.

HOW DO I APPLY? WHAT IS REQUIRED?

Membership Assistance applications are always available at the Member Service desk. You can also download the Membership Financial Assistance Application below and return it to the Y with the required documentation.

Required paperwork, in addition to a completed application form, includes:

– Current year tax return or non-filing letter

– One month of your most recent pay stubs or unemployment letter

– Letter(s) stating any amount received as assistance (i.e., food stamps, child support/alimony, social security benefits, disability, unemployment, and any other) from the agencies

Applications that are incomplete and/or do not have copies of all required documentation will not be processed until all paperwork is received. Applications dormant for over 30 days will be considered abandoned and be shredded.

HOW WILL I KNOW IF I QUALIFY?

You will be notified via phone within 2 days of our office receiving your completed application. If the manager is available, applications may be processed and calculated.

Upon processing, your membership can begin immediately, and you can start enjoying the Y.
