OUT OF THE PARK FUN! (IN THE PARK)
The Y offers two age-appropriate T-Ball leagues every summer. Always a big hit with the entire family!
Preschool and Youth Rec T-Ball players are learning the same basic skills as their older counterparts, but this may be their first team experience for many. Participants are given basic instruction on hitting off a tee, throwing, catching, fielding and base running, emphasizing building confidence, family involvement, and fun!
Preschool T-BALL
Divisions: Preschool (ages 4 & 5) boys and girls
Registration Deadline: May 17th, 2022
Program Dates: June 4th – July 16th, 2022
(No games 4th of July weekend)
Location: Riverside Softball Complex, Sioux City
Registration Fees:
- Y Family Member: $40 ($55 w/ Y sports shirt)
- Community: $55 ($70 w/ Y sports shirt)
Youth Rec T-BALL
Divisions: K – 1st-grade boys & girls
Registration Deadline: May 17th, 2022
Program Dates: June 4th – July 16th, 2022
(No games 4th of July weekend)
Location: Riverside Softball Complex, Sioux City
Registration Fees:
- Y Family Member: $45 ($60 w/ Y sports shirt)
- Community: $70 ($85 w/ Y sports shirt)
Participant Equipment Expectations:
A Red/White reversible Y Youth Sports Jersey is mandatory to play in YMCA T-Ball leagues. The cost is $20 in addition to league fees.
Jerseys can be picked up at the Y Member Services desk by the participant and/or their parent anytime during normal business hours. These jerseys are also used for Soccer, Flag Football, Volleyball and Basketball.
Participants must provide their own glove.
Rubber cleats are optional.
